The charming town of Bristol, Vermont, is located in northeastern Addison County just below Deerleap and South Mountain. The inlying (and outlying) Green Mountains afford residents with spectacular views, which, as the seasons change, become a kaleidoscope of colors. Many fine shops and restaurants can be found in Bristol center. In the summer, Bristol Green is home to Wednesday evening concerts, an active Farmers' Market, Fourth-of-July events, Movies in the Park, BBQ's, and more. Bristol is also home to one of Vermont's finest gourmet restaurants, Mary's at Baldwin Creek, which specializes in dishes made with farm-fresh foods from their own gardens and small local farms. The Cream of Garlic Soup is not to be missed!
