Cambridge is a dramatically scenic town in north-central Vermont that encompasses the village of Jeffersonville or Smugglers' Notch, home to one of the area's premier ski centers, Smugglers' Notch Ski Resort. Smugglers' Notch is a spectacular pass at the foot of Mt. Mansfield cutting through the Lamoille Valley. During the Fall foliage season, the best way to find color at its peak is to tour Route 108 through the Notch. Every year in January, the Smugglers' Notch Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Heritage Winterfest in conjunction with the Smugglers' Notch Primitive Biathlon.
